The Teflon-lined saucepan I had owned for years needed to be replaced, and I'm very pleased that I chose this one. It is easy to clean and store, the lid fits tightly, and it's dishwasher safe. I use it a lot to make two servings of rice, and the rice always comes out light, fluffy, and perfectly done. No more gluey or sticky outcomes. It also works well for small amounts of leftovers, soup, and other side dishes. It's heavy for such a small saucepan, reducing the risk of burned food. My next purchase will be the 2-quart size.
